What is a Flipped Classroom? In the traditional teaching model, students attend a lecture, absorb
information and do further exploration at home. In the flipped classroom, the student is responsible for
learning the content at home; in the class, time is spent on application of knowledge. The webinar
series will cover how faculty can use handheld devices in different case studies to make lecture time
more productive and engage with students.
