Desktop OS: Windows

To successfully install the product on your PDA, you need to

1. Install the product on your desktop
2. Install the product on your handheld
3. Activate the product

These steps are identified below.

NOTE: During installation if you maintain an active Internet connection AND your handheld is in its cradle and connected to the desktop, the product is automatically activated. If this is not feasible, you have to manually activate the product after you install it on your handheld.

Only for users installing MedStream: You must maintain an active Internet connection during the entire process for successful installation.

Please complete the following steps:

1. Install the product on your desktop computer

1. Locate the .exe file that you downloaded onto your desktop computer.
2. Double click on the .exe file.
3. A wizard will guide you through the process. When prompted, enter the product serial number listed on your Order Receipt.

   Repeat steps a, b, and c if installing more than one product.

2. Install the product on the handheld

1. Connect the handheld device to the desktop.
2. Perform HotSync operation.
3. Skyscape Product Installation screen will appear on the desktop. Click on the button labeled "Install" after confirming that there is sufficient memory on the device to install the product.

   NOTE: By default the product is installed on the memory card. If you wish, you can choose an alternative destination on the Skyscape Product Installation screen.

3. Activate the product - Manual Registration

NOTE: You need to perform this step only if you were not connected to the internet during installation or if you have a trial version of the product and wish to unlock it.

1. Log onto http://www.skyscape.com/register from your desktop and follow instructions.
